Shakespeare Delighted By Fightback

Shakespeare Delighted By Fightback

Craig Shakespeare has said that he was delighted by the character shown by the team in yesterday's win over Hull.

Speaking to lcfc.com after the 2-1 win, Shakespeare said he was pleased with how the team dug in and dealt not only with going 1 down, but also going down to 10 men.

'A lot of things went against us, but the spirit and character the boys showeed was commendable. We're pleased for the players. We've said all along that we won't give up, we have to try to win every game. We are still in it, people keep telling me one team always comes from the pack, so hopefully that can be us.'

Shakespeare also confirmed that the club will be looking at Danns' sending off before deciding whether to appeal.

Unfortunately having seen it a couple of times now, I think that would be one I'd let stand.
