Pearson - Take The Game To Chelsea

Nigel Pearson has called on the Leicester squad to take the game to Chelsea in the FA Cup and not be intimidated of the occasion.

Speaking to lcfc.com ahead of the plum encounter for the Foxes, Pearson said the pressure would be on Chelsea to perform so we can play our game and force the issue.

'Clearly we've got to catch them on a not-so-good day and we'll have to be at our best, but it's an opportunity for the players to show what we can do. We're all looking forward to the game, but there's a job to do as well. It's not all about us being underdogs, we want to go there, give a good account of ourselves and cause them problems. We've got to be competitive and brave enough to play our own game.'
