Work To Do, But We Have A Shot
Nigel Pearson knows we still have a way to go in our promotion push, but he believes our recent form has given us more than a shot at achieving it.
Speaking to lcfc.com after seeing the Foxes register our first back to back league victories of the season, Pearson was pleased with our performance and was delighted to see us pick up another three points.
'We dominated the game for long periods, and even when we were down to ten men, we showed a lot of composure and dealt with their threat well, so I thought the players deserved their win today. I don't think it's been a problem mentally, but to not record back to back league wins in a calender year - it's obvious that's the reason we're in the position we're in. But we've given ourselves a chance, there are plenty of games left.'
