Pearson - Merited Point Against Boro
Nigel Pearson believes we more than deserved a point against Boro.
Speaking to lcfc.com after the 2-2 draw Pearson believes we were unlucky not to win it, but a point was more than deserved.
'I was delighted for the players to get that equiliser because it would've been a travesty for us to have lost that game. We were on the front foot for most of the second half. The goal we conceded was disappointing, but their second goal came whilst we were in the ascendancy, so credit to the players for keeping at it and the goal from Jermaine was the very least we deserved. Their application and attitude were excellent.'
