Sean St Ledger has said that Tom Hopper has remained grounded despite making his debut for the club.
Speaking to the Leicester Mercury St. Ledger offered with a smile on his face.
'Do you know he is my boot boy? Do you know how old that makes me feel?'
There's obviously a good spirit between the seniors and the younger lads, as St. Ledger continues.
'That is the first time that has ever happened to me, where my boot boy has come on the same pitch. Incredible. I give him a Christmas bonus for cleaning my boots, but I was worried about the bonus I would have to give him if he had scored. He's not a bad boot boy, but now he is in the first team he might not clean them as well.'
All joking aside St. Ledger says the youngster should have a good future ahead of him if he keeps his head down, saying he has a great physical presence for a player so young and he's very sharp in training and games.
Hopper himself admits his debut was a bit of a blur but he certainly hopes to get more chances.
'It all seems like a blur, but something I have really enjoyed. To get that chance, I hope it happens many more times. When the gaffer told me, my heart went pounding - it's still pounding now. I almost scored and it would've been nice but, hopefully I will get chances to do that.'
