Pearson Delighted With Forest Game
Nigel Pearson has handed all the praise to the players for their performances against Forest last night.
Speaking to lcfc.com after the game, Pearson said he was delighted with the response the players gave him and that was exactly the sort of reaction he wanted.
'I'm very pleased for the players. They are a good group, but they were down this week and this was the way to respond. We needed to do that, not just as a response for the supporters, but also for ourselves.'
Pearson also lavished praise on hattrick hero Jermaine Beckford.
'He wasn't too well today to be honest with you, he had a cold, but I am very pleased for him. He thoroughly deserved his ovation and he took his goals well.'
