Pearson Looking At Ipswich Positives

Pearson Looking At Ipswich Positives

Nigel Pearson is taking the positives from the draw against Ipswich on Boxing Day, but he knows we need to see a clear improvement.

Speaking to lcfc.com Pearson said he was impressed with our spirit once we went behind and the fight shown by the players did give him heart.

'People have spoken about the body language when the team has gone behind, today, I think they gave everything, so we can at least take some positives from that. It's clear that there is a need for some tweaking and we need to work on cultivating a positive mental attitude, but it will come I'm certain of that.'

Pearson adds that the first half of the season simply hasn't been good enough given the stated aims of the club, but he's expecting to see a much stronger second half of the season.
