'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Professionalism Won Us The Points

Nigel Pearson has said that the side's professionalism shone through as we beat Blackpool 2-0 in last night's game.

Speaking to lcfc.com following the game, Pearson was obviously delighted to take the win and see a great return for his first three games back in charge. But more importantly for confidence, we are now back in the top 6 and curiously it's the first time Leicester have been back in the play off positions since the gaffer left 18 months ago.

So a case of, as you were almost.

'I'm very pleased for the lads. Blackpool are undoubtedly a good side but we were good value for the win tonight. It's not just about having quality in the side, it's also about having the application and being able to get the result that you set out to achieve.'

Onwards and upwards now for Pearson, are we slowly seeing the signs of some consistency?
