Pearson Content With Point

Nigel Pearson has said he is content with the result today against Portsmouth, although there is a tinge of frustration that we didn't win the contest.

Speaking to lcfc.com following the 1-1 draw, Pearson pointed towards the competitive nature of the league and said he believed overall it was a good point for us to take as we look for more consistency in our results.

'You have to work extremely hard for every single point in this division, I can't fault our players as they have everything today. I felt we were poor in the final 25 minutes of the first half, but in fairness to Portsmouth, they are a good side and they make you work hard, so whilst I am disappointed not to come away with all 3 points, it was probably fair.'
