Mills Looking For Winning Run

Mills Looking For Winning Run

Matt Mills is hoping to see us get back to back victories when we host Leeds this weekend.

Our inconsistency in results was a huge reason why the sword fell on Sven, and Mills knows it's something the players need to sort out if we hope to be as successful as our stated aims this season.

Speaking to lcfc.com ahead of the game, Mills said.

'I think confidence has been gained from Tuesday's win, but it's been mentioned that we've not won two on the bounce. That's something that's ringing in our ears so we want to put it right.'

After returning following his suspension, Mills added that it was nice to wake up on Wednesday knowing he'd been back out on the pitch.

'When you've not played for a while and you're training hard, you just want to get out there and feel the benefits of a game, so it was nice to be back involved, great to get the three points and nice to wake up on Wednesday morning stiff and aching with a couple of knocks!'
