Kasper Not Bothered About Leeds

Kasper Schmeichel had to be reminded that this weekend would be the first time he met Leeds since his move in the summer.

Speaking to the Leicester Mercury he admitted it was Neil Danns who reminded him about the fixture list, as with everything else going on at the club lately, Schmeichel's mind has been elsewhere.

'I haven't thought about Leeds. I didn't realise, I have just been so focused on what I am doing with Leicester and everything that has been going on.'

Kasper adds that there is no bad feeling though, and he's happy with where he landed.

'There is no bad feeling, I am happy at Leicester and I'm loving every minute I am here.'

On the issue of Sven and everything happening off the pitch at moment, Schmeichel added.

'It has been a strange week, it was sad to see Sven leave. I think everyone enjoys working with him but the owners have made the decision and the names in the hat are top quality and it is a great job for anyone to have. Credit to the lads, they have been great and huge credit to Mike, Jon and Steve. They have got us in working hard and lifted morale. I can't praise those three enough for how they have dealt with the situation.'
