Quality Is There For All To See

Quality Is There For All To See

Our caretaker managers both agreed following tonight's 3-1 victory that the quality within the team is there for all to see.

Speaking to lcfc.com following the game, Jon Rudkin said.

'Burnley is not an easy please to come, so this is a tremendous achievement. Mike, Steve, and I are all very proud of the boys. This result underlines the quality in the squad and this victory is down to the collective effort of the group.'

Rudkin added that after everything that has gone on recently, the fact the fans turned up in such numbers was a huge benefit to the players and did help spur them on.

'It was great to be backed by the fans and they made a real difference.'

With a bumper crowd expected, and rumours that our new manager will be announced prior to the arrival of Leeds, Stowell simply repeated that preparations for the next game are underway, and they will continue to do that until told otherwise by the board.

'We are now preparing for Sunday and hopefully we can record another win. That (new manager) is something that the owners and board will handle.'
