Levein Won't Get Carried Away

Craig Levein said his team were 'terrific' after beating Sheffield United 4-2 at the weekend.

Hume scored a brace with Hammond and Smith weighing in with one goal each as early season table toppers had their blades blunted!

The Leicester boss said "This makes up for all the difficult days. I thought we were terrific today and it's nice to play well and get all the points, which is something that hasn't been happening recently. We have been playing 25 to 30% below what we are capable of and I put that down to a lack of confidence, which we certainly had today."

However Levein has cautioned the players "We must remember this was only one performance and we mustn't get carried away. We have been playing like that in spells but without scoring goals. The goals made all the difference. I don't think we have been 2-0 up in a game before, but this one you could see how much confidence it gave us."

Leicester had fourteen shots on target and enjoyed 54% of the possession.
