No Loan For St. Ledger

No Loan For St. Ledger

Sven-Goran Eriksson has told out of favour Sean St. Ledger to prove his worth to Leicester and fight for a place after ruling out a loan deal.

Speaking to Sky Sports Sven dismissed the idea of a loan move for the Republic of Ireland centre half, choosing instead to tell him to fight for his place.

A chance that may now well come his way following the suspension of Matt Mills.

'It's up to St Ledger now, we can't allow him out on loan. If we could call him back within 24 hours, then okay. But you can't do that for the first month so it is out of the question.'
