Sven Defends Beckford Start

Sven-Goran Eriksson has called on fans to reserve judgement on Jermaine Beckford until he beds in properly.

The striker has failed to find the net in five games for the Foxes, but Eriksson is adamant we haven't seen the best of the player yet.

Speaking to BBC Radio Leicester the boss said.

'We haven't seen the best of him yet. But it's not fair to judge in a game like Birmingham because with 10 men you have to gamble and it was difficult for the strikers.'
