'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Beckham Offered Player/Coaching Role

Sven-Goran Eriksson has apparently confirmed that an offer has been made to David Beckham for him to join the club as a player coach when his LA Galaxy deal expires.

Speaking to the Guardian the manager said he has 'already had that discussion with him. I spoke to him about Leicester. Beckham will never say no to me, he says 'Sven we'll see.'

With Beckham's LA Galaxy contract due to expire in November it's expected for him to be linked with us again, but these quotes are so vague they could be from last summer or even last season when the oft muted loan deal hit the papers.
