Eriksson Pleased With Solid Boro Showing

Sven-Goran Eriksson has said he was pleased with a solid performance from the team against Middlesbrough last night, and he believes we will be ready for Derby.

Speaking to lcfc.com following the 0-0 draw, Sven said.

'This is a very difficult division, it was a fair result tonight I feel. We should have won at Cardiff, but there were few chances for either side and that meant that we had to be tight at the back and keep our concentration.'

The point puts us near the play off places and of course extends our unbeaten run, but we do need to start securing more 3 points to give ourselves the best shot possible come the end of the season, and hopefully we'll grab 3 at the weekend.
