Bamba To Be Rewarded?
Sven has said that the possibility of improving Sol Bamba's contract due to his start to the season has been discussed, and may be acted on.
Speaking to the Sunday Mercury the gaffer said of the 26 year old.
'It has been discussed and there might be some improvement to his contract. Sometimes you are close to a heart attack when he wants to control the ball like Franz Beckenbauer, but I don't think he made any mistakes at all last Saturday. He was fantastic and he has been very consistent.'
Given the number of players signed by Sven since he joined the club, the following line should be a huge boost to Bamba's confidence.
'I have made many other good buys, but he is among my better buys.'
