Beckford Looking Forward To Foxes Start

New singing Jermaine Beckford has said he can't wait to get going in the Leicester shirt following his deadline day move to the club.

Speaking to lcfc.com the 27 year old striker admitted he would be delighted to go straight into the team for the Barnsley game and that he's determined to help us in our promotion push.

'I enjoyed my time with Everton, but I felt the time was right to move somewhere where I would play more games and hopefully score more goals. Leicester are a great club with a lot of ambition and the manager was obviously a big factor in my decision.'

With Nugent out injured, Beckford certainly has the chance to stake an immediate claim for a starting spot.
