Weale To Continue Fighting For No1 Shirt

Weale To Continue Fighting For No1 Shirt

Chris Weale has confirmed that he will continue to fight for his place at Leicester in the hope of ousting new signing Kasper Schmeichel from the first team.

Speaking to the Leicester Mercury the goalkeeper said.

'It has been a difficult season but it is part of being a professional and I have to get on with it. I want to play as many games as possible but the manager picks the team and I have to fight for my place.'

Weale adds that the manager has been clear and honest with him, so he knows Kasper is the No1, and he knows what he has to do.
