Eriksson Expects Waghorn Departure

Sven-Goran Eriksson has said that he expects Martyn Waghorn to leave before the close of the transfer window.

Speaking to BBC Radio Leicester the manager said that Waghorn had already asked if he could leave after becoming a fringe player, but the club said no - however they realise he needs to be playing at his age.

'He wanted to leave three or four weeks ago, then we said no, but for his own sake he needs to play. I don't know if it will be a loan or permanent deal, but it will almost for sure happen.'
