'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Take It One Game At A Time

Kasper Schmeichel has called for the promotion chat to stop, and for the team to wake up and take each game as it comes for the rest of the season.

With expectations high for promotion, the Reading defeat and the manner of it, should be a huge wakeup call for the players.

Speaking to the Leicester Mercury our new No 1 said that the time for talking was over, and the team needed to heed the lessons we were taught.

'I think people need to stop talking about the expectation and promotion, we have to take one game at a time, as has been proved, this is going to be so much more difficult than anybody has anticipated.'

Whilst one defeat shouldn't be the end of our hopes, we certainly have to learn lessons and although there will be days like that as the season progresses, it's on days like that that we should see the players dig in further. Go down fighting if you will, as opposed to being surprised that we are behind.

Schmeichel adds that all the players are 'gutted' and they are looking to the midweek game to put matters right.
