Danns Confident Of Success

New signing Neil Danns has said that he believes the strength of the squad should be more than enough to sustain our assault on promotion this season.

Speaking to lcfc.com our 28 year old new signing was pleased with the quality of the team and has warned everybody that competition for places will be high and that every player will need to be on their best form, because there is a ready made replacement for them waiting for their chance.

'We've got such a strong squad that everyone is fighting for starting berths this season, but it's always good to have competition, it's healthy.'

With so many players fighting for position Danns adds that rotation will be important for the Foxes this season, as the games will be tough and will come thick and fast, especially as we should be taking the cup competitions very seriously aswell.

'Squad rotation is a big factor in modern football. If people pick up injuries or are not on their game, there are others who can come in and do just as well. There will be expectation on us, but that's a positive. It keeps everyone on their toes and you'd rather have the expectation of going up than going the other way.'
