IK Sirius Friendly On Foxes Player

Tonight's first pre season friendly in the Stockholm Trophy against IK Sirius is being given the full commentary treatment on the Foxes Player.

Tune in from just before 6pm tonight and subscribers will be able to enjoy pre match interviews and other such goodies.

Unfortunately however the match won't be shown live, but highlights should be available within a few days.

Speaking ahead of the game to lcfc.com Sven-Goran Eriksson said he was excited to see how his new side would shape up in their first test, and expects Sirius to give us a good game.

'We play these friendly games for exactly that reason, to give the players a chance to play together, to get to know each other, to see which systems we want to use and which players will play them.'

There's certainly been a fair bit of activity over recent weeks in the transfer market, and although you wouldn't expect all our new signings to start the game, you'd expect they will all get some time on the pitch come the final whistle tonight.
