Mackail-Smith Move Nearing Conclusion

Mackail-Smith Move Nearing Conclusion

Peterborough Chairman Darragh MacAnthony has told the press he expects Mackail-Smith to sign for Leicester today.

Speaking to BBC Radio Cambridgeshire he said.

'I would expect him to sign for Leicester on Friday. I presume if Sven gets on with Craig he'll be a Leicester City player on Friday.'

Manager Darren Ferguson added.

'Leicester are a big club and they're having a right go, if Craig feels it's the right move for him we wish him all the best.'

There's been no official news on the reported £3m signing yet, but the day isn't over and the Posh chairman could still be proved right.
