Players Coming In Are A Statement Of Intent

Players Coming In Are A Statement Of Intent

Director of Football Andrew Neville has said that Leicester's first few signings could tip the balance in our favour with other prospective targets.

Speaking to the Leicester Mercury he said that some players may well be thinking about te quality of other players being targeted and with City making bold moves in the market, it could cause a domino effect where other targets realise this club is determined to reach the top.

'Once we get one or two in that may make the minds up of others, once you get a couple in then others will think 'look who Leicester have signed' and follow suit. It might have a domino effect and get the ball rolling.'

Whether that will set the ball rolling on other talked about targets such as David Nugent, Matt Derbyshire and so on remains to be seen, but there's no doubting Sven hasn't finished in the transfer market yet.
