Bids In For Bamba & Waghorn?

Rumours are starting to circulate that Sol Bamba and Martyn Waghorn have been the subject of official bids from Aston Villa and Derby County respectively.

With regards to Sol Bamba, French newspaper L'Sport has stated that Bamba has been subject to a 2.6 million offer from Houllier's Villa, but in the translations I've seen no quotes or any real proof has been offered.

The same is similar concerning Derby's reported 1.25 million offer for Waghorn, although at least in this case Chief Executive Lee Hoos has denied receiving any concrete bids for any players.

In other players 'out' specualtion, Steve Howard as been linked specifically with Hull City, whilst Bruno Berner and Robbie Neilson are expected to also leave.

Speaking to thebluearmy.co.uk Hoos urged The Foxes fringe players to prove their worth and fight for a future under Eriksson next season.

'We haven't really had any calls about any of our players, but I am sure I will be batting a few away. Waggy was unfortunate to get that injury and miss the end of the season. We have a good bunch of lads and the advice is always 'go out and fight for your place.'
