Striker Paul Gallagher believes that the Foxes will be better prepared next season to mount a promotion push, having learnt a lot in our last campaign.
Gallagher states that we must start the season strongly next term and ensure that there are no off pitch distractions to hold us back, blaming the managerial merry-go-round for hampering our play off push this time round.
'It's been a bit of a roller-coaster, when the club changes managers just before the pre season, it's difficult. It was hard to adjust, they had different philosophies and ways of playing, we were trying to do things differently and that didn't work out. We gave ourselves too much to do in the second half of the season.'
As well as starting strongly, Gallagher also believes we will benefit greatly from some continuity in team selects, and allowing players to work up a real understanding with each other - especially in defence.
'If you are playing with the same keeper and back four it's a massive help. It's all about stability.'
It's good to hear the players comment on the mistakes that were made (at all levels) this season, and see them stating clear indications that we will fix those and push on further.
