'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fancy editing the site?

After two-and-a-half years editing Vital Leicester, it has finally arrived at the stage where I just have no time for the input anymore.

With university commitments and other writing opportunities to fulfil elsewhere, it's time to pass the baton over to somebody else.

So here is a call to Leicester City fans.

Do you enjoy writing about your club? Do you feel you can contribute news stories, match reports and opinion pieces on a regular basis?

Then this is the opportunity for you. Whether you're an aspiring journalist looking for their first little break or just simply a fan who enjoys discussing their team, it really doesn't matter.

Of course, you don't have to do it alone. If you would like to be the editor, why not recruit a few helping hands to share out responsibilities?

As a personal farewell I would like to thank anybody who took the time to read my contributions to the site, and I hope it gets put in good hands for the foreseeable future.

Anybody with any interest in the post should contact: jonathan@vitalfootball.co.uk. He doesn't bite, promise...

Sorry to hear you're leaving Vital, JB - I've often stopped by on this site throughout the season and you've been doing a good job. Best of luck with your studies and other writing work, and best wishes to your successor too!

I thank you, looks like I've got some good boots to fill with the sterling work JB did here - I too wish him for the future, and hope he stops in every once in a while and says hello.
