N'Guessan makes Iron loan switch

Leicester midfielder Dany N'Guessan has joined Championship rivals Scunthorpe on a one-month loan deal.

N'Guessan has featured just five teams for City this season, and has made just one appearance under Sven-Goran Eriksson as a substitute.

The pacey winger signed for the Foxes from Lincoln City at the beginning of last season, but has since struggled to hold down a regular starting place in the Leicester side.

Inconsistencies have plagued the 23-year-old's spell at the club, mainly impressing last season under Nigel Pearson as an impact substitute from the bench.

With six goals to his name for his efforts last year, N'Guessan has demonstrated his threatening credentials on several occasions but is yet to convince City fans of his regular worth to the squad.

A loan move to Scunthorpe should see the Frenchman handed some much-needed first-team action, but quite which Dany N'Guessan turns up for the Iron remains to be seen.
