Leicester set for Zayatte loan
Hull City defender Kamil Zayatte will complete his loan move to Leicester tomorrow.
Zayatte was the subject of a bid from the Foxes on deadline day, but it is believed that the defender was unwilling to drop his Premier League wages just yet.
The Guinea international underwent a medical at the club earlier on Thursday afternoon, and should be unveiled as a City player on Friday morning.
Leicester manager Paulo Sousa is keen to add Zayatte to his squad on a permanent basis, and the 25-year-old could make the move to the Walkers in the January transfer window.
Nigel Pearson has started Zayatte in every match so far for Hull in the Championship this campaign, but needs to free up wages in order to sign Liverpool defender Daniel Ayala.
Signed for £2.5 million from Swiss side Young Boys in 2009 after a successful loan spell the previous season, Zayatte has made almost 60 league appearances in a Hull shirt.
He featured prominently in the Tigers' two Premier League campaigns, but relegation to the Championship has signalled the end of his career at the KC Stadium.
Meanwhile Japanese international Yuki Abe will not feature for City at Coventry on Saturday due to visa issues, according to radio Leicester journalist Ian Stringer.
