King scores in Welsh win

There were plenty of reasons to smile this evening as Leicester midfielder Andy King scored his first goal for Wales.

King headed home his side's third goal of the evening from a Craig Bellamy corner on 55 minutes in a 5-1 victory against Luxembourg.

The 21-year-old was making just his third appearance for his country, but repaid the faith shown in him by manager John Toshack with a worthy contribution on the night.

Leicester's highly-rated midfielder was given the second half to shine at the Millenium Stadium and duly delivered in a young Welsh side.

It is another step in the fine progression of King, who has risen through the Foxes youth academy with impressive ease.

Now a regular and vital fixture in the City lineup, Foxes fans will no doubt be delighted for their man this evening.
