Carling Cup first round draw details

Leicester have been placed, as usual, in the Northern section for this season's forthcoming Carling Cup.

As a seeded side the Foxes cannot be pitted against one of the so-called 'bigger' sides in the draw, setting up a tie with either a League One or Two team.

*Oldham Athletic
*Tranmere Rovers
*Hartlepool United
*Rochdale
*Stockport County
*Morecambe
*Rotherham United
*Chesterfield
*Bury
*Bradford City
*Accrington Stanley
*Crewe Alexandra
*Macclesfield Town
*Lincoln City

The first round draw will be made on Wednesday 16th June, announced on the official football league website at 9.30 am.
