Foxes set to snare Vaughan
Leicester have won the battle to sign Everton striker James Vaughan on loan, according to The Mirror.
It is thought that Derby County were ready to re-sign the striker on loan after his spell with the club ended when Everton recalled the 21-year-old because of a slight cartilage tear.
But it now appears as though Nigel Pearson has emerged victorious, with Vaughan apparently ready to help Leicester secure an all-important play-off spot in the Championship this year.
Vaughan currently holds the record of being the Premier League's youngest ever goalscorer, but has since struggled to make a large impact on David Moyes' first team.
The news is sure to infuriate Derby boss Nigel Clough, who had hoped he could re-sign Vaughan after his return from injury.
