King gets Wales shout

Leicester City midfielder Andy King has been called up for the Wales squad to face Sweden next month at the Liberty Stadium.

The 21-year-old has forced his way into a permanent starting role for City once again after beginning the season on the bench, and was strongly linked with a move to Aston Villa in January.

King has made three appearances for John Toshack's side to date, the most recent coming in Wales' 3-0 demolition of Scotland in Cardiff back in November.

With 31 appearances under his belt for Pearson's Foxes this season King has established himself as an intergral part of City's new three man midfield, and will now look to make his impression on the international scene.
