Campbell Returns to Blackpool

Campbell Returns to Blackpool

DJ Campbell has rejoined Blackpool on loan for the second time in two seasons.

The striker has signed for the Seasiders on loan until the end of the season, after making just three appearances for Leicester's first team this season.

Campbell has recently spent time on loan at Derby County along with the released Paul Dickov, finding the net three times in his eight appearances for the Rams.

The 28-year-old has always found his time at the Walkers a struggle, but has yet to find a permanent move away from the club as a result of the obscene wages provided to him during the Martin Allen era.

Campbell's first spell at Blackpool was a huge success, the former Yeading man hitting nine goals in twenty appearances to finish as the club's top-goalscorer for the 08/09 season.

And Ian Holloway has finally landed his man until the end of the season after failed attempts in the summer.
