Leicester have completed the signing of 27-year-old French striker Yann Kermorgant on a free transfer.
The player's contract at former club Stade Reims expired after the club were relegated from the French second division last season. As a result, Nigel Pearson has acted to bring in the striker after impressing on two trial periods with the club.
Last month we reported that Kermorgant was close to signing for the Foxes, but injury in his first trial meant talks were delayed. As more clubs (in France) came in for the player the move was again put on hold until now.
Although Kermorgant only scored nine times for Stade Reims last year, it has been suggested that his real asset to the team comes in the form of assists.
