Hinckley United 2-2 Leicester XI
Two goals from Billy Kee and Jonathan Hayes gave a Leicester City side combining youth and reserves a 2-2 draw at Hinckley United's Greene King Stadium yesterday evening.
James Wesolowski, Jonathan Hayes and Levi Porter were recalled from the wilderness to play in last night's match, with all three fighting for their place in the first team squad.
However, unfortunately for Porter he was substituted at half-time after a rather lacklustur performance, most likely confirming his departure from the club in the near future.
The home side found themselves two goals to the good in the first 15 minutes, and managed to sustain their lead up until half-time.
However, as the hour mark approached the Leicester XI fought back through youngster Billy Kee who scored his second pre-season goal in as many games for the team.
The scoring was completed ten minutes from time as the impressive Jonny Hayes finished after coming on as a substitute at half-time.
City XI - Cisak, Milnes, Boulger, Parkes, Rowe-Turner, Douglas, Wesolowski, Verma, Porter, Sappleton, C King. Subs Kee (45 for C King), John (75 for Douglas), Hayes (45 for Porter), Hinks (57 for Verma), Yussef (70 for Sappleton)
