Well, there's actually been a whole host of transfer talk today (and yesterday), with rumoured player incomings and departures. Here's what's been thrown up on the rumour mill today:
IN:
Jordan Henderson: The young Sunderland midfielder spent time on loan at Coventry last season, where he impressed both manager and fans alike with his assured wing performance. The Star on Sunday report that he could be a target for both us and the Sky Blues this summer.
Sammy Clingan: The Norwich midfielder looks set for the exit at Carrow Road following Norwich's relegation to League One, with a couple of clubs set to be monitoring his progress. The People claim that Coventry have made a bid for the player, but he would ultimately prefer a move to the Walkers.
Yann Kermorgant: The French striker's deal at Stade de Reims expired recently, where he scored nine times in the French second division last season. According to one French fan however, his real asset to the team is his ability to create goals, much like a forward Leicester already possess in Steve Howard. The 27-year-old is said to be keen on a move to the Walkers Stadium, with Sky Sports reporting that Kermorgant has already opened talks with the club. 'Leicester are one of the clubs who want me. I am delighted with the talks so far'. Watch this space...
Simeon Jackson: The Sun report that Gilligham's playoff hero could be the subject of a £1.5m bid from City. The 22-year-old Canadian scored 22 goals for the Gills last season in League Two.
Ched Evans: After the signing of Carlos Tevez, Manchester City could allow the 20-year-old to move out on loan next season, with Burnley, Coventry and Norwich all interested in the striker, along with ourselves. Evans enjoyed a successful loan spell with Norwich in the 07/08 season, but may be put off by their current league position.
OUT:
Andy King: Not one Leicester fans will be pleased to hear about, with Martin O'Neill reportedly weighing up a £2m bid for the Welsh under-21 international after being priced out of a move for Leeds' Fabian Delph according to the Birmingham Mail. King, 20, was pivotal in the Foxes' rise to the League One title last season, and would be disappointingly missed by Foxes fans should he make the switch.
