Leicester City chairman Milan Mandaric has stated that new signings are on the way, after meeting with manager Nigel Pearson.
The Foxes chief also revealed that midfielders and strikers are top priorities, news which will certainly please the club's fans who have seen a distinct lack of goals in recent Championship years.
Leicester have already made six permanent transfers this summer, making the loan moves of Jack Hobbs, Wayne Brown and Astrit Ajdarevic permanent, whilst defender Robbie Nielson, goalkeeper Chris Weale and winger Dany N'Guessan have also made the switch to the Walkers this summer so far.
Mandaric told the Leicester Mercury; 'Nigel and I are going to sit down to have a long discussion and plan what else we need. We are still short of some players and we are looking for improvements in midfield and in attack as well.
We will see a few more players coming here in the next couple of weeks. We are working from the same page and Nigel will get the support he needs.'
The team have been linked with Doncaster's Richie Wellens and Preston's Darren Carter in recent weeks, as well as several eastern European players including CSKA Sofia's Dormushali Saidhodzha.
