Five Released For Foxes

Patrick Kisnorbo is the biggest name to face the exit from Leicester City as part of five senior players released from the club today.

The Australian international has been a fans favourite since his move to the club from Hearts in 2005. Initially beginning (and failing) as a central midfielder, Kisnorbo moved to the heart of defence, a position which saw him eventually pick up the club's player of the year award in 2007.

The 28 year-old has fallen to fifth choice in line behind Aleksander Tunchev, Jack Hobbs, Wayne Brown and Michael Morrison, and will now be searching for a new club after being released by the Foxes.

Joining him is high-earner Bruno N'Gotty, fellow Aussie Paul Henderson and veterans Barry Hayles and Marc Edworthy.

We here at Vital Leicester would like to wish Kisnorbo every success in the future, and thank him for his efforts with the club. Don't be surprised to see him in the Championship again next season, he's certainly good enough for it.
