Foxes Win N'Guessan Race?

Foxes Win N'Guessan Race?

Leicester have won the race to sign 21-year-old Lincoln City midfielder Danny N'Guessan according to Sky Sports.

The winger's contract expires this summer, and manager Nigel Pearson has acted quickly to beat off interest from Sheffield United and Leeds to sign the Frenchman on a three-year contract.

N'Guessan was a star performer for the Imps this season, featuring in the League Two team of the year. And after rejecting Lincoln's contract offer it appears the young midfielder could be heading for Nigel Pearson's Leicester in the Championship.

The deal is expected to be completed next month, with the fee expected to be decided by a tribunal.
