Gilbert Returns to Gunners

On-loan Leicester City full back Kerrea Gilbert has returned to Arsenal for the duration of the season after dislocating his shoulder in Leicester's 2-2 draw with Carlisle United on Saturday.

Gilbert will play no further part in the season and will subsequently be returning to parent club Arsenal where his injury will be treated.

The 22 year-old has been a prominent part of Nigel Pearson's current league leading side, making a total of 39 appearances along the way, scoring once.

Whether or not Pearson will make any further advances to sign the full back in the summer remains to be seen, but Gilbert has generally been a success in the time spent with the club.
