Pearson Nominated For Manager of the Month

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson is up amongst December's names for League One's dreaded manager of the month award.

Leicester managed an unbeaten run throughout the month, winning four of their five games (Southend United, Carlisle United, Peterborough United and Hereford United), and recording one draw against Leeds on Boxing Day.

With December's impressive form complete the Foxes remain at the top of the table, two points ahead of the MK Dons, who subsequently have their manager listed amongst the names for the award.

Roberto Di Matteo (MK Dons), Darren Ferguson (Peterborough United) and Paul Lambert (Colchester United) make up the names on the shortlist.

The winner will be announced on Thursday at 12.20pm on Sky Sports News.
