Hayles comeback likely
Once prolific goalscorer Barry Hayles could well be back in action for Millwall against Leicester on Saturday after recovering from a long-term knee injury.
Hales, a one-time £2m signing by Fulham from Bristol Rovers, has not played for Millwall since the League Cup clash with Birmingham on November 29.
He has scored 16 goals in 47 League matches for the Lions and a recent fans poll voted Hayles and Carl Asaba to be Millwall's best strikeforce.
In his Fulham days, Hayles (34) scored 44 goals in 116 League games and for Bristol Rovers it was 34 in 66, an impressive strike rate by any standards.
Hayles recently played 30 minutes of a behind closed doors friendly at Chelsea after his three months on the sidelines.
Now manager David Tuttle is ready to put him straight into the squad for the crunch home match against City, and a likely place on the substitute's bench.
Tuttle said: 'Barry should get a full week's training under his belt and we hope he will be fit.'
