Free Agent Berner Signed

Bruno Berner has signed for Leicester.

Depending on the move getting approval from the Football League, which it should, the 30-year-old left back has signed a contract to stay with the club until the end of next season.

Nigel Pearson is more than happy with the signing of the Swiss international: 'He's a player with a wealth of experience and I'm sure he will be a great addition to our squad,' Pearson told the official website.

Berner, who was a free agent after being released by Blackburn in the summer, should be available to face Leyton Orient on Saturday.
