Hayles' Loan Spell Extended

Hayles' Loan Spell Extended

Barry Hayles has seen his loan spell with Cheltenham extended.

Hayles has made three appearances for Cheltenham since joining on loan but is yet to open his account but has impressed Keith Downing with his all-round play.

The 36-year-old had joined on an initial one-month loan from Leicester, but this has now been extended by another month to the delight of Cheltenham manager Downing: 'I think there's more to come from Barry,' Downing told BBC Radio Gloucestershire. 'I think he needs more games and I think we'll see him get stronger as the month goes on.'

Do you think allowing Barry Hayles to extend this loan into a second month is a good thing?

Barry Hayles is a proven goal scorer but I think Father Time catches up with us all.
