Pearson Named Manager Of The Month

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson has been named August's Manager of the Month in League One.

An unbeaten start to the league season sees Leicester top the table, but as pleased as he was to win this award he was quick to point out it had been a team effort: 'It's nice to be recognised but it's certainly not about one person, it's a concerted team effort,' Pearson told the official website.

Pearson took over Leicester in the summer, replacing the sacked Ian Holloway; he has guided the club to three wins and a draw in the league, with 12 goals scored and only 4 conceded.

How happy are you to see Nigel Pearson win this award? Do you think that he deserves this?
