Wilson Tips Leicester For Promotion

Having seen his side beaten 3-0 at home by Leicester in the Johnstone's Pain Trophy on Tuesday Hartlepool manager Danny Wilson then tipped Leicester for an instant return to the Championship.

Wilson, who's Hartlepool side are also in League One with Leicester, believes that Nigel Pearson has the players at his disposure with the quality of a much higher level: 'These boys are Championship players, if not some of them Premier League players,' Wilson told BBC Tees. 'They have players coming back and they have a formidable squad.'

Do you think that Danny Wilson is right and Nigel Pearson can guide Leicester back to the Championship at the first attempt?

Despite Oldham Athletic starting the season well, it is difficult to see beyond Leicester City and Leeds United for automatic promotion.
