Pearson talks about our win over Tranmere

This is what Nigel Pearson had to say to lcfc.com after our 3-1 win over Tranmere Rovers on Saturday 'I'm pleased with the result because I said last week that we would play a lot worse and win.
'But I'm sure Tranmere will be disappointed to have played so well, particularly in the first half, and not come away with anything.
'They had a game plan that took us a long time to come to terms with. So, in the end, I'm very pleased with this result.
'After all, it's another three points to add to our good start to the season and it's results that matter.
'We weren't at our best but we did enough to win the game.
'But winning when you are not playing well is not a bad habit to have.'

The three points were the main thing, and this latest win maintains our very good start to the season as we look to bounce back to the Championship at the first attempt.
